*UPDATE ON SHUTTLE MATTERS*

The Students' Union Government has been up and doing in carrying out her duties to make sure that the Welfare of her Students is well guaranteed through the Office of the Director of Welfare and its Committee Members.
This First Week of resumption has really been stressful. It has been observed that the number of Shuttles (Buses and Cars) have not been able to meet the services of the Large number of Students on Campus.
Students are therefore ensured to know that the *price of services rendered by the Shuttle within Campus has not Changed with exemption to those SHUTTLE BUSES operating from MAIN GATE to RING ROAD and NEW BENIN which is now 80 naira as a result of fuel increment and other related matters*

```The PRICES of SHUTTLE TRANSIT WITHIN CAMPUS are :```
• *SHUTTLE (BUSES) - 30 NAIRA*
*SHUTTLE (CARS) - 150 NAIRA*
° note - *the price ranges for 1-3 persons (with or without load)*
° *when the number of persons becomes 4, the price becomes 200 NAIRA*
° ```note - the maximum number of persons in a CAR is four(4) which is 50 per head amounting to 200 NAIRA```
° *also note that when your load (BAGS/LUGGAGE) becomes too many, this is when an additional fee of 50 NAIRA is charged*
° *Students are also expected to know that ONLY during RUSH HOUR, a DRIVER is allowed to carry more than ONE person heading SAME ROUTE.*
*When this happens, the Price reduces to 100 NAIRA per Person.*
```note - 1-3 persons together can also be referred to per person in this statement, which is initially 150 NAIRA but reduces to 100 NAIRA when another person HEADING SAME ROUTE tags along```

A shuttle (CAR) is expected to run all routes within campus, which means that a Driver should not refuse to drive any student to their DESTINATION within campus. As it has been observed that some Drivers, refuse to go to places like BLOCKS OF FLAT, HALL 6 and DENTISTRY QUARTERS.
*As much as Students exercise their Right, Respect must be accorded to Drivers within and outside campus to Foster PEACE and UNITY between the DRIVERS and the STUDENTS.*
Whenever there is Misunderstanding or Dispute between a Driver and a Student (s), _all you need do is take note of the vehicle's plate number ( shuttle within campus) or the shuttle numbers e.g RR 012 (for those outside campus)_ and lay your complaints to the WELFARE COMMITTEE MEMBERS.
