The SUG PRESIDENT, University of Benin, Comr. Egwu Benjamin Lotanna, visited the University Librarian Dr. Luke Obasuyi to discuss on how to control the effects of the SSANU & NASU STRIKE on the students.
The SUG PRESIDENT told the Librarian Dr Luke Obasuyi that all the library extension in all Faculties are on lock following the fact that the Library Staff are members of the said SSANU & NASU.
The SUG PRESIDENT also notified the Librarian about the condition of our Academic calendar & how fast the First semester examination is approaching.
The Librarian assures the President of Maximum cooperation to enable the students prepare for the examination.
The Library opens 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday (Because of the strike)
The Librarian also appeal to the students to obtain their Library card at John Harris Library, the card is the GATE PASS to the Library Facilities.
The Library Card is not just a Gate pass into the Library but Also grants Students access to borrow Library books & Journals.
