THE GOLDEN AGE EXECUTIVES. CLOCK ONE YEAR IN OFFICE 14th of February,2020 to 14th of February 2021

ACTIVITIES THE LEADERSHIP OF THE UNION HAS SUCCESSFULLY CARRIED OUT

1. Online UNIBEN SUG Prays against the Global Pandemic ( COVID-19)  and Untimely Death  of  students and staff of the University held on 8th May, 2020.

2. Free online Graphics Designs Training were  we trained  over 1000 students on  Graphics Designs  held on  5th to 8th May, 2020.

3. Stay Back Home Lecture Series on Writing and Writing Competition, aimed at improving the writing skills of our dear  students held 28th April, 2020. Cash Prizes was given to the first, second and third Positions.

4. Online  Skills and Thrills ( Instagram Challenge Series) aimed at encouraging Talented students held on 25th  April,  2020. Cash Prizes was given to the first, second and third Positions.

5. Stay back home UNIBEN Anthem Challenge tagged : *Robed in Purple and Gold*  aimed at encouraging our students to know the University Anthem. Cash Prizes was given to the First , second and third Positions.

6.The leadership of the Union successfully led a  Peaceful Demonstration for Last Miss Vera O. Uwaila aimed at Publicly  condemning the ugly circumstances that led to her untimely Death.

7. Several Visitation to Edo State Police Command  in a  bid to get Justice for our dear  departed Student (Late Miss Vera O. Uwaila )

8. Release of over 40 students that was unjustly arrested by the Ugbowo  Police Division.

10. The leadership of the Union distributed  Palliative to our students stuck around the school  environs which over 500 students in  Ekosodin, BDPA, Osasogie and Ekehuan campus Respectively benefited greatly. 

11. The leadership of the Union was fully represented in the 2020 Matriculation Ceremony held on 15th September, 2020.

12. The leadership of the Union led delegation of students to a program tagged:  *Sexual Violence and Other Gender based Violence in Tertiary Institutions*

13. The leadership of the Union was able to give  our amiable and hardworking  Vice Chancellor a surprised Birthday Package held on 8th August, 2020. 

14. The leadership of the Union was fully represented in the Symposium event  organized by the leadership of ASUU  University of Benin Chapter in honour of  Prof.  Festus Iyayi of blessed memory held on Thursday 12th November,  2020.

15. The leadership of the Union led delegation of 25 students  to attend the burial ceremony of late miss Vera O.  Uwaila aimed at giving our departed student the last respect held on Friday  13th November, 2020.

16. The leadership of the Union was represented in the  UNIBEN 50th Anniversary Inter faith Thanksgiving Service  on 23rd November, 2020.

17. The leadership of the Union  represented the University in the just concluded 2020  NANS Convention held at Abuja From Sunday  29th  December - Friday 4th December, 2020. 

In  Conclusion, it  will interest you to know that this activities and many more  was diligently  carried out from personal  contributions from Union Officers, This clearly shows that we are   passionate to genuinely serve University of Benin Students and maintain the good image of the University Community.

Different Religious group, Association & Students celebrated the SUG PRESIDENT & HIS TEAM on the occasion of their one year in office.
