Women's Day was first observed on March 19, 1911, in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. Campaigns across Europe against WWI inspired women in other countries to adopt International Women's Day. The date of observance moved to March 8 in 1913.
It is hard to imagine a world without women. They play a significant role in our lives be it as mothers, sisters, daughters or friends. With ease, they manage both the home and their work life and even impact on the lives of others around them and Behind every successful woman is Herself, because Women can do anything!
